Application of Tanning solutions is an art form. Contour and color are important in sculpturing a great body. Learning how to sculpture as well as tan is a great way to increase the satisfaction of your clients. With professional Tools at Spraygunindustry you are well on your way to perfecting your technique.
There are 6 types of tools for applying tanning solutions. For mobile tanners there are also Turbine units. We do not recommend them unless you need to be mobile due to the higher cost and poorer finish quality. We carry all six, but concentrate on the first 4. If you need 5 or 6 EMAIL. For overall quick tanning or laying down a base we recommend a mini spray gun. For contouring add a air brush from 2-4. A great all around is the new 3. This is an impressive unit which provides great control with superior atomization for even coverage.
1) Mini Spray Gun (please be aware you need a special setup for Tanning) 2) Trigger Feed Air Brushes. 3) "Spraygun" Airbrush - fantastic atomization and larger fan pattern than normal airbrush 4) Traditional airbrushes 5) Turbine Units (FOR MOBILE TANNERS ONLY - EMAIL) 6) Spray bottles and pressurized pump bottles A NO NO! BUT WE HAVE THEM!!! EMAIL |

For larger coverage start with a mini spray gun. PLEASE NOTEStandard mini spray guns come in a .8 - 1.2 and will not work with most tanning solutions. This is why you may be having trouble purchasing from a local store. Tanning solutions are thin and require a .5-.6mm tip set on a mini spray gun. below is our favorite small footprint professional gun which has many different sized cups for different purposes.

| 2) Trigger Feed Air Brushes |
|---|
If you have the larger spray gun for large coverage, do contouring with a trigger feed air brush up to 2". This keeps you with the same feel as the trigger feed spray guns. If you are an air brush person by nature then move on to level 3.
