PLEASE
NOTEYOU ARE NOW AT OUR Aircraft Section at SPRAYGUNINDUSTRY.com.
Get
it on Even and get it on Thin. Unnecessary sanding and buffing on a
large wing span and added weight of an uneven finish makes a very tired
and unhappy painter. We understand this and have guns that will lay
a spetacular thin coat of clear, perfectly even, almost to the point
where buffing and sanding are not necessary.
Spray
with the same paint guns that the major airline manufacturers spray
with - like
Boing and Lockheed Martin - Yes, the same guns used on our military
fighters planes.

The guns we recommend
are standards in the Aircarft Industry. Some of the paint gun companies
we sell have been in the painting business for over 100 years.
Every gun we sell is professional quality that can be used to get a
job in the industry. We bring these top rated guns to you at wholesale
prices selling them direct to the public. Take heart in our recommendations,
have fun choosing a gun, and you will be satisfied.
Proper
equipment is a must for aircraft performance. It is very important to
use professional top of the line tools that experienced painters use
to help you do a great job. You will find them at spraygunindustry.com

4 TYPES OF GUNS TO CHOOSE FROM
|
PRESSURE SETUP This is the standard setup for most aircraft
production and serious hobbyists. Large airlines and Military
crafts as well as smaller commercial jets use such setups for
their painting We recommend these setup tremendously.
You
have 3 choices of pot sizes or you can use the same gun with different
pots for great versitility.
1
Liter / 2 Quart / 2-25 Gallon or larger 55 Gallon drums |
GRAVITY
FEED Do not feel you have to get a pressure system like the
"big boys". If you are doing a small to medium size
plane you may enjoy the convenience and ease of use of gravity
feed guns. These guns are a great alternative to a pressure setup.
The benefits of Gravity Feed are ease of use and ease of cleanup.
The finish quality of these guns are excellent and just as good
as #1 Pressure Setup. The only drawback is the cup is only 1 liter
in size. Please note1 liter holds enough paint to cover a automobile
so judge the size of your work accordingly. |
SUCTION FEED not recommended due to the lower atomization power
of these guns as compared to #1. If you want the cup on the
bottom however you have 2 options1) you can get a pressure gun
(see#1) with a small cup on the bottom or if you are looking
for a traditional suction "cup on the bottom gun" for
a larger selection of guns Click here.
Please notewe recommend 2.0 tip set or higher for larger aircrafts
since working speed is an important issue on such a large vehicle.
|
AAA Air Assisted AirlessLarge plane manufactuers and painters
now have an option to Pressure Setups. Air Assisted Airless will
cut your painting time in 1/2 and give you a large 14" Fan
pattern. An important breakthrough in large aircraft finishing.

MY PLANE IS BIG HOW
DO IT GET AROUND IT? To get around a plane you have several choices:
| Small Plane

the fluid pot. |
| Small Plane -
Medium Plane - Large Plane (Recommened) |
Use a 2 quart remote
pressure setup and keep it on your belt or with you as you move
around the plane. |
| Small - Medium
Plane - Large Plane (Recommended) |
Use a larger 2 1/2
Gallon - 10 Gallon setup or even 55 gallon drum with long hoses
to move around the plane. |
WHAT ABOUT SMALLER
AREAS LIKE THE COCKPIT?
*In addition to your full size gun, to get into smaller places like
the cockpit you may use a 1.0 minigun.
